A properly installed Clearlux surface will last well over a decade with normal residential use. The UV stable resin prevents colour fading, and the recycled glass aggregate is harder wearing than conventional stone. Ask us about our warranty when we visit.
In most cases, yes. Resin bound glass can be laid over a sound existing concrete or asphalt base. We assess the condition of your current surface during the on-site consultation and will let you know if any preparation or repairs are needed first.
A rinse with a garden hose or pressure washer on a low setting is all it takes. There are no loose stones to rake, no weeds to pull, and no sealing required. Leaf blowing works well for day-to-day tidying. We provide full care instructions at handover.
No. The textured surface of the glass aggregate provides excellent grip underfoot — significantly better than polished concrete, tiles, or smooth asphalt. This makes it particularly suitable for pool surrounds and pathways.
